What Omnibus means:   *New*

omnibus (òm´nî-bùs´, -bes) noun

A printed anthology of the works of one author or of writings on related subjects.

Hello Everyone,    *New*

I'm trying now to get my contemporary romantic suspense finished.
This baby is headed for 700 manuscript pages and still going.
My editor is going to choke, but I'm having a terrific time with the
story and characters.
It's tentatively titled VANISHED, and is scheduled for a November 2001 release.
Hope my readers like hot sex cuz this baby is the hottest I have EVER written.
I'm not even going to let my mother read this one. ha!   *Grin*

I'll have this finished by Sept 1, then immediately begin my first book
for Pocket, which is due by January 1. I understand they already have
the cover nearly finished.  FEVER, which takes place on a Louisiana
plantation in the 1850's will be released August, 2001, then I start on
my second Pocket book, SWEET MADNESS, which, at this time, is a sequel
to my 1996 DEVOTION.

Dear Readers,

I am Regency author, Joan Overfield, writing to let you know that at the request
of my publisher, Zebra Books,  I have taken the pen name of Carolyn Madison
My first book under this nome de plume will be released in July of 2000
THE SCOTSMAN AND THE SPINSTER.

Fans of Sharpe's Rifles are certain to fall madly in love with Sergeant Ross
MacCailean
,  as he struggles to fulfill his duty to Wellington and to the men
fighting and dying on the Peninsula.  Aiding Ross learn the intricacies of Society
is Miss Adalaide Terrington, an obstreperous and managing bluestocking known
as "The Terror of The Terringtons."

This is a traditional Regency rather than a Regency Historical, which is
why Zebra requested the pen name.

Sincerely,

Joan Overfield / Carolyn Madison

Hello,

http://www.ReadingGroupGuides.com can help make reading and talking about
books more fun! Reading group guides contain discussion questions and
background material on the author and subject, as well as suggestions for
further reading.

Guides are available for many of the most popular books for reading groups.
Unfortunately, these guides are often hard to find --- they are scarce in
bookstores, and difficult to track down on the Internet. You can read a
book's reading group guide to help decide whether the book is right for your
group.

Sincerely,

John Morotti
